This is the cut version, I plan on uploading the pre-cut in a while, probably tomorrow. The pre-cut version has the edges not cut off due to it being of a larger size. The reason why I'll upload it is cause, it oddly works with the edge mess that I had planned to cut off.
Have I mentioned I have a love for Hexagons? To me, they are a perfect shape, the last shape that can be tessellated into a grid pattern using just it self.
I decided to make this wallpaper after having made a credit card design using similar techniques. I should actually post that up as a template for people to make their own cards at some point. I went and started creating new hexagon grid patterns to replace the old, not that pretty, ones I've been using for a while.
New patterns, new styles, a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. All of it went into this wallpaper. Not exactly happy with the bottom left. I wanted to go with a crystallized frost/ice look for it, but just couldn't figure out how to go about doing it. So I settled with that, plus I've spent about a week or so on this now, and need to just call it done.
Check back tomorrow (or the next day) for the pre-cut version, you might actually like it if you like this version.
Note to self: Large wallpapers aren't that easy to make on a low power machine.
